‘The way we talk (and don’t talk) about death, dying and grief’ webinar
Every year, people around the UK use Dying Matters Awareness Week (6-12 May 2024) as a moment to encourage all communities to get talking about death and dying.
This year’s theme, ‘The way we talk about Dying Matters’, focuses on the language that we use, and conversations we have – specifically between healthcare professionals and patients (adults and children), their carers and their families.
The Bereavement Counselling Team from Specialist Palliative Care at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is hosting a virtual training session to share guidance and advice on how best to have these difficult conversations. Drop by to hear more or to ask questions.
This session is open to healthcare professionals at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust/Walsall Together and to staff across Walsall Council.
